Brownstown, MI. October 22, 2007 Josephine Ford Cancer Center- Downriver located at 19675 Allen Road in Brownstown specializes in the latest cancer care technology.
Recently they held a Breast Cancer Survivor Day Celebration at the facility. Along with a light lunch, punch and dessert Dr. Joseph Won a well-versed physician within the Henry Ford Health System spoke to the group.
He told of the newest technology available at the Downriver facility as well as future medications that are currently in research. He challenged the survivors to take what they learned from this experience and become a “life giving soul” to others. God and the team of physicians gave a second chance to survivors and it is up to them if they will be “bitter or better”.
His experience is that those who are the most positive bring the most joy and change to their families and communities. His motivational assignment moved some to tears. The Josephine Ford Cancer Center - Downriver is committed to providing the best in cancer care to the Southeast Michigan region which includes compassion, technology, programs and support for those going through cancer treatment, the survivors’ day is just one of many programs offered at this facility.
