Over 3 Million Baby Boomers Are Turning 62

In 2008 the first wave of Baby Boomers will be ready for retirement at age 62.  49 percent of them being men and will be drawing Social Security benefits every single month. Then in 2011 all these Baby Boomers will hit 65 and be qualified to receive Medicare.

Some 84 million people will be eligible to collect Social Security in 2030.  As of today only 50 million are collecting, with 44 million using the Medicare system.  79 million Medicare beneficiaries will leave just barely two workers paying payroll taxes for every retiree.  Read More.
