Sprint to boost Michigan Network with $60 Million

Over the next six months Sprint plans to spend just over $60 million to increase and enhance Michigan’s wireless networks. 61 sites in Western Michigan and 99 southeastern Michigan sites are being targeted for the service renovation.
The southeastern Michigan cities inlude: Adrian, Alpena, Ann Arbor, Atlanta, Auburn Hills, Brighton, Brown City, Burton, Carsonville,Cass City, Cement City, Chelsea, Clarkston, Clinton Township, Columbiaville, Commerce Township, Davison, Detroit, Emmett, Farmington, Flint, Grand Blanc, Harrisville, Hillman, Homer, Howell, Hudson, Imlay City, Jackson, Jonesville, LaSalle, Lachine, Lewiston, Livonia, Mackinac Island, Macomb Township, Marlette, Maybee, Melvindale, Millersburg, Millington, Montrose, Mt. Morris, North Branch, Northville, Oak Park, Ortonville, Otisville, Owosso, Redford Township, Rives Junction, Rogers City, Roseville, Royal Oak, St. Clair Shores, Swartz Creek, Smiths Creek, Southfield, Springport, Sterling Heights, Trenton, Troy, Waldron, Waterford, Willis and Ypsilanti.
And in the West Michigan area the following cities will notice a boost in service: Alto, Athens, Bangor, Battle Creek, Big Rapids, Boyne Falls, Bronson, Burlington, Charlotte, Climax, Coloma, Coldwater, Constantine, Dansville, DeWitt, East Lansing, East Leroy, Fowlerville, Gobles, Grand Junction, Grand Rapids, Jenison, Kalamazoo, Laingsburg, Lansing, Lawrence, Leonidas, Mason, Middleton, New Buffalo, Olivet, Paw Paw, Plainwell, Rockford, St. Johns, St. Joseph, Schoolcraft, Sodus, South Haven, Stockbridge, Three Rivers, Traverse City and Wayland.
Sprint claims to have seen double-digit decreases in blocked and dropped calls across its various networks. Sprint has more than 212 million people in 10,746 cities and over 1,000 airports.
