If the Michigan State House of Representatives passes the bill smoking would be banned in Michigan bars.  Wednesday smoking in many Michigan workplaces, restaurants and bars would be banned under the legislation that was passed. The Detroit Metro Convention and Visitor Bureau announced on Wednesday that the 2007 Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix held August 31 – September 1, stimulated the economy with $53 million dollars.
