Grand Prix Drives Dollars to Michigan
The Detroit Metro Convention and Visitor Bureau announced on Wednesday that the 2007 Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix held August 31 – September 1, stimulated the economy with $53 million dollars. In 2006 Super Bowl XL held in Detroit Michigan’s Ford Field generated just under $56 million dollars.
