Michigan Job Fair – Engineering and Technology Jobs
By Tim Somers on Feb 6, 2008 in General
On February 19th over 60 businesses from Michigan will be featured at this years Engineering Society of Detroit’s Engineering and Technology Job Fair. This sounds like a great event for students and entry level engineers. The part I do not understand is the $15 admission fee to attend the event, more than likely the attendees do not have a job. One would think that 60 plus companies could cover the expenses necessary to host such an event.
The event runs from 2pm to 7pm at the Southfield Pavilion, the $15 free does get you a one year student membership to ESD (guess this could be worth the cost of admission), the opportunity to network with corporate employers and attend some Career Skills Workshops could very well be worth the time and money to attend.

Hi Robert,
Thank you for the kind words. I checked out your blog as well - networking is a hugh factor in my 19 year business success.
I would love to have you featured as a guest blogger (with a link back to your site of coarse) has to be original content not on your site.
I also have a promotional products blog (currently getting a facelift) that will have a featured section on networking - so there is another opportunity for a guest blogger posts if you are interested.
