Michigan Lottery – Super Raffle Sold Out
It took a bit longer than expected, but the Michigan Lottery has sold 250,000 tickets for their latest Super Raffle. I featured a post called Michigan Lottery Super Raffle Has Best Odds back in February when the state launched this Raffle. When I checked yesterday no more of the pricey $50 tickets were available. 4,527 winning tickets will be drawn on Monday, March 31, 2008. Michigan’s MDOT Construction Web Site Launched
Currently I-75 has no less than 5 major construction projects in the works, I have been able to avoid the Michigan Highway so far. In a move to keep travelers in the loop so to speak, The Michigan Department of Transportation launched a new Web site that promises to have up to date information on I-75 road and bridge construction schedules for Oakland and Wayne counties. Chrysler Wants Your 2 Cents
In an effort to improve their vehicles, Chrysler LLC has created an online customer advisory board. The plan is to have an online panel of 2,000 to 5,000 customers on the board. Customers have to submit an application to serve on the advisory board – visit the site at www.chryslerlistens.com if you are interested. Michigan Gas Prices Drop 8 Cents
Last week I posted some tips on how to Save On Gas, and the good news is that Michigan gasoline prices are down on average 8 cents. AAA Michigan said that Michigan gas prices are 72 cents higher than last year at this time but have fallen over the past week to a statewide average of $3.26 per galloon. Gas in Michigan is right in line with the national average for a change according to the Lundberg Survey. Airport Runway Expansion Still Up In The Air
200 people packed the Wayne County Airport Authority meeting held Thursday with home and business owners that would be affected by the purposed expansion of the Detroit Michigan Metro Airport. A decision on the plans was tabled until May of this year. Since I don’t travel all that often, I just don’t understand why another expansion is needed.
