MichiganBusinessHub.com Contest Set To Launch

MichiganBusinessHub.com is sponsoring a contest, in an effort to generate website traffic, increase backlinks, increase RSS feed subscriptions, newsletter distribution lists and ultimately increase business for the Michigan Businesses that sponsor this contest.

It’s pretty simple; sponsors of this contest only have to donate a prize. The prize can be goods or services offered by their company or a prize can be a Gas Card, Gift Card or Gift Basket for that matter. What ever the prize it has to be of value and not require the winner to spend any money out of their pocket, $100 off a $500 purchase is not going to cut it.

Right now I am recruiting sponsors, businesses that want to expose their business products or services to other business owners as well as joe consumer will want to be a part of this contest. As of this post there are 8 sponsors with a total prize value of $1,282.00 (see the list below).

Entrants of the contest will get one ticket for entering the contest; here is where it gets exciting for the sponsors. To get additional tickets and increase the changes to win entrants will have to complete a few tasks that benefit the sponsors.

Examples:

Subscribe to the Bizarre Promotions, Inc Newsletter – 10 additional Tickets
Subscribe to the MrBizCards.com Newsletter – 10 addition Tickets
Make a Blog post on their Blog (which will have links to each sponsor) – 50 Tickets
Email their friends, family, co-works telling them about the contest – 25 Tickets

I am still finalizing all the tasks but you get the idea – I am considering having tasks that require the entrants to visit a sponsors store or office – if they happen to make a purchase they’d get a set amount of tickets (this will have to be worked out with the sponsor).

The contest will be promoted heavily over the next 3 months – the drawing will be held October 1, 2008 – an entrant can only win one prize, so if we have 25 sponsors, we will have 25 different winners. The grand prize will be based on prize value with the other prizes in descending order based on value.

What does it cost to be a sponsor – NOTHING! Only the value of your prize and only one business type will be allowed to participate, on a first come bases.
