Sponsor Events To Expose Your Michigan Business

I have done my share of sponsoring various community events over the years. From little league baseball teams, auctions, advertising in program books for events like the Woodhaven Drama Club’s spring play “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown”. I’ve also sponsored the Southern Wayne County Regional Chambers Annual Grub Crawl, just to name a few.
Yake Elementary School in Woodhaven Michigan will be hosting a school Walk-A-Thon on September 21st, 2008. The Walk-A-Thon is a fundraiser to support various enrichment programs, school field trips, library and art needs the school has.
I have jumped on board for a donation of $75, this gets my company name on approximately 500 T-shirts and a plug in the school newsletter. The cost per exposure is really a minimal expense if you really think about it. You should really use these types of events to market your business. Your current customers and new prospects will really think highly of your company, motivating them to do business with you because of your efforts to support the community.
So join me and get your company on the Yake Elementary Walk-A-Thon T-shirt – here are some details:
A $75 donation to sponsor the event gets your company name on the back of the T-Shirts of every student participating in the event. (approx. 500 students), and you will be mentioned as a sponsor in their school newsletter.
A sponsor table will be set up at the event if you would like to leave a advertisement, flyers, coupons/ and or discounts, business cards, or small promotional give-a-ways to be displayed on the table.
A mystery raffle is also being planned, if your business would like to participate in the raffle, they are asking for donations in the form of gift certificates, products and/or services.
Any tax-deductible contribution you are able to make will be greatly appreciated and used for the sole purpose and benefit of the Yake Elementary students.

A thank you letter along with the Tax ID# will be mailed, if you choose to make a donation.
