Southgate, MI. When it comes to preparing for a career change, there are many questions. When a person decides they will start their own business even more preparation, planning and research needs to take place. Michelle Chesney, owner of Healthy Habitz, a home based business, has experience in many home based enterprises, but through Healthy Habitz she found her passion for health related questions have been answered. That’s why she decided to put together this “Work from Home” Job Fair. She wanted to be able to help others in their quest for the “right” business for their personality, motivation and lifestyle. She will have over 20 various businesses available to talk with along with area specialist to help make your business succeed.

Speakers will be scheduled on-the-hour during the event for more detailed “how to” advice. A CPA will discuss the tax benefits of home based businesses; a marketing professional will share ideas on how to market your new business on a shoestring budget; an accounting consultant will discuss the benefits and ease of use of Quickbooks as your financial software; a life coach will be on hand to provide tips on goal setting and time management and a sales expert will dispel myths regarding direct selling and why it’s the best business model in our free enterprise system.

The program will be held Saturday, March 21, from 10am-3pm at the G.Philips Catering-Cafe-Conference area inside the YMCA Fun & Fitness Center 16777 Northline Rd Southgate, MI. 48195 (734) 281-9622.
