Three Day Start A Business Event

If you are considering starting a business you will want to check out the Startup Weekend Detroit three-day event geared toward entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and professionals.
The event will be held at Compuware Corp. headquarters downtown Detroit on , Nov. 14-16, 2008, the cost is $40.
The event pace will be set by the attendees, aimed to create a startup business over the course of a weekend. Attendees are invited to pitch ideas for new businesses upon arriving Friday evening – then teams will breakout around the ideas that generate the most interest.
Teams will meet again on Saturday morning and work late into the evening. Sunday, teams will finish up a range of tasks. The weekend concludes with team presentations that outline group accomplishments to the rest of the attendees.
