Southgate, MI, June 8 2009 – An energy savings project was just completed June 6 for the City of Southgate.  The Southgate Library will now be powered by the sun. Eventually the entire community of City buildings off Dix/Toledo road could be run on solar energy since they all share the same electrical grid.
