Southgate Michigan Solar Project Completed

Southgate, MI, June 8 2009 – An energy savings project was just completed June 6 for the City of Southgate.  The Southgate Library will now be powered by the sun. Eventually the entire community of City buildings off Dix/Toledo road could be run on solar energy since they all share the same electrical grid. The unique aspect of this project versus other solar panel work is two fold. Residents and guest can now actually have a full view of the panels from almost any Southgate service building in the civic circle area. The panels now rest on the fascia on the side of the building, where all panels are normally placed on the roof. Residents and solar enthusiasts can also now view the production of power results online.

This local solar project was headed up by Robert Kulick of Kulick Enterprises and Cresit Energy who specializes in the installation and distribution of Solar Energy. His office is located in Wyandotte. His team of specialists also included Rob Molnar of Molnar Roofing, who installed the roof stanchions and the electrical hookup was completed by Douglas Electric’s engineer Mark Skehan. Bob Lemay completed the welding services for the building fascia. Web integration was also installed and configured by Tom Lawrence of Lawrence Technologies in Taylor. Tom installed all the sensors and cabling needed for a live feed that is now available on http://www.cresitenergy.com/. The website provides in real time production power generated and all kilowatt hours and tracking information.  Wyandotte Schools are currently live tracking power production and the Southgate project will be updated and in real time within the next few weeks.

    Hello,

Did you ever think about creating your own blog? There are many great platforms, but by far the best is Wordpress. It is simple to set up, however the themes just never fit my needs. I looked for a simple solution to this problem and realized that there wasn’t one. I then had a template custom made for my needs and was so happy with the outcome. I then decided to build a website that would show the world how to simply hire an expert in wordpress design.
