On September 17, 2007 the Michigan Lottery will once again offer a Super Raffle.  Selling only 250,000 tickets with a hefty price tag of $50 each, the drawing will be held no later than October 22 – but could be a soon as 10 days after all the tickets have been sold. Volkswagen has announced the will be moving their North American headquarters to Virginia sometime next years.  The move from Auburn Hills Michigan is expected to eliminate 400 jobs.  The move is scheduled to start sometime in April of 2008 and will be completed by the end of the year.  600 of the estimated 1,400 employees will remain in Auburn Hills in the call center and technical service jobs.  400 jobs will be moved to Virginia with about 150 Michigan employees moving to Herndon, he … [Read more...]
